Terms of Use

By using Rotavele (the “App”), you accept these terms. Service provider: Veli Bacık (VBX Teknoloji) (“Rotavele”). If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

1. Description of the service

Rotavele is a platform where entrepreneurs share their ideas in short videos, and where investors and other users can discover these projects, like them, comment on them and send contact requests. Rotavele only provides a meeting and publishing environment; it is not a party to agreements between users. The service is in beta; features may change or be removed without prior notice.

2. Eligibility: 18 years and older

Only persons who have reached the age of 18 may use the App. During sign-up you declare that you are over 18. If this declaration is found to be false, the account may be closed.

3. Account

• Sign-in is with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for the security of your account.
• You may not provide false or misleading information in your profile or impersonate anyone else.
• If you state that you are an investor, the information you provide must be accurate; the “Verified” badge is based on manual review and does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee.

4. User content rules

You are responsible for the videos, images, text and comments you upload (“Content”). You remain the owner of your Content; however, you grant Rotavele a worldwide, non-transferable, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to host, display, compress/format and publish the Content within the App. This licence ends when you delete your account or the Content (legal retention obligations are reserved).

The following are prohibited:

• Unlawful, threatening, harassing, hate-speech, discriminatory, obscene or violent content,
• Content that infringes others’ intellectual property, personality or privacy rights; images of people without their permission,
• Misleading, fraudulent, fake investment promises or manipulative content; money laundering, illegal betting and similar illegal activities,
• Spam, bulk promotional messages, malware and malicious links,
• Sharing others’ personal data without permission,
• Attempting to disrupt the service, its security measures or other users, or to collect data with automated tools.

5. Moderation, reporting and blocking

• Submitted projects go through admin review before they are published; Rotavele may reject a project or remove it from publication.
• Every member can report an inappropriate comment or content from within the app. A comment that receives a certain number of reports may be hidden automatically until it is reviewed.
• A project owner can hide comments on their own project; a comment’s author can delete their own comment.
• You can block other users (managed from Settings); content from users you block is not shown to you.
• Rotavele reserves the right to remove content that violates the rules and to restrict or close accounts. Reports are looked into within a reasonable time; notification of the outcome is not guaranteed for every report.

6. Not investment advice

Important notice. No content on Rotavele is investment advice, an investment recommendation, an offer of securities or capital market instruments, or a call to buy or sell. Rotavele is not a licensed brokerage, portfolio management company, crowdfunding platform or investment advisor, and does not conduct fundraising or intermediation activities. Projects are prepared by users; their accuracy, completeness or success is not verified or guaranteed by Rotavele. Investing in startups carries a high risk, and you may lose all of the capital you invest. Base your investment decisions on your own research and, where necessary, independent professional advice.

7. Communication between users

Contact requests are initiated by the investor, and the reply email the investor provides is shown to the entrepreneur. Any correspondence, agreements and payments after that are entirely between the parties; Rotavele is not responsible for them. Be careful with the information you share with people you do not know and with the agreements you make.

8. Intellectual property

The Rotavele name, logo, design and software belong to Veli Bacık (VBX Teknoloji) or its licensors. You may not copy the software, reverse engineer it or use it for commercial purposes without permission. For notices of infringement, you can write to [email protected].

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”; it is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Rotavele is not liable for user content, disputes between users, losses arising from investment decisions, data loss, indirect damages and loss of profit. Cases of intent and gross negligence, and situations where liability cannot be limited by mandatory provisions such as consumer legislation, are reserved.

10. Termination

• You can delete your account from within the App at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete my account). Details: Account deletion.
• Rotavele may suspend or close your account, with a warning or, in urgent cases, without a warning, for breach of the terms, unlawfulness or security reasons.
• Upon termination, provisions that by their nature must continue (limits of the content licence, liability, governing law) remain in force.

11. Personal data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice.

12. Changes

Rotavele may update these terms. The current text is published on this page; significant changes are announced within the App. Your continued use of the App after a change means that you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

Turkish law applies to these terms. In disputes, the competent courts and enforcement offices in Türkiye have jurisdiction; for applications made as a consumer, the statutory jurisdiction of the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts is reserved.
